Nose

Very dry and a herbal character of fennel, thyme, white pepper and cut grass. Newly polished furniture and wooden bookcases. Sweeter with water – notes of stewed apple and Chinese battered banana fritters.

 

Palate

A balance between bitter and sweet with notes of rhubarb crumble, ripe melon and blackberries. With time a nutty character develops in the form of roast chestnuts, dry roasted peanuts and cashews. Notes of lavender and a touch of liquorice with water.

 

Finish

After dinner mints, cola cubes and cherry liqueur. With time, cappuccino and brandy butter.
